RICHSENS releases current sensor for elevator IoT
【Key words】Open current sensor RCEI elevator data acquisition
1. RCEI product overview
The operation basis of the elevator Internet of Things system is the collection of elevator operation status data. RCEI (RICHSENS current sensor for elevator internet) is a patented product of RICHSENS Yichang RICHSENS Sci&Tech Co.,LTD. It is mainly used in elevator Internet of Things. This product adopts the principle of high-sensitivity magnetic detection, which can be opened freely and has high-precision detection. The product rendering is shown in Figure 1, and the overall size is 25mm*30mm. When in use, open the sensor and put the signal line to be tested into the hole of the sensor to monitor various signals in the elevator in real time, including control signals, feedback signals, sensor signals, etc. The sensor is electrically isolated from the elevator electrical system, does not need to modify the cable, and does not need to be connected to the elevator system. It is safe and reliable, and meets the requirements of the elevator Internet of Things standard.

2. RICHSENS current sensor product application introduction
A typical elevator IoT system block diagram is shown in Figure 2.

The elevator information acquisition system is mainly used to collect the signals of various sensors installed on the top of the elevator car and analyze the current running status of the elevator. Using RCEI can easily collect each sensor signal.
Taking the signal acquisition of the elevator door opening sensor as an example, when the elevator door fails, the door does not open when it should be opened, or the door opens when it should not be opened. When the implementation is in place, RCEI monitors the control signal in real time, such as the 6mA working current of the optocoupler. The RCEI is installed in the optocoupler loop. By monitoring the working current of the optocoupler, it is judged whether the control system has given a control signal, so that the fault can be quickly located. The reason is for the maintenance personnel to investigate. Combined with the detection of other sensor signals, it can realize fault monitoring such as "opening the door and taking the elevator", "repeatedly opening and closing the door", "opening the door for a long time", "opening the door during operation", and "stopping the elevator outside the door zone".
By monitoring the signals of the top limit sensor and the bottom limit sensor, fault monitoring such as "topping" and "squatting" can be realized.
Through the monitoring of various sensor signals, it is also possible to judge whether the elevator sensor is abnormal. Including lead disconnection (no signal), lead short circuit (continuous signal high level or low level) and other fault detection.
The data collector is the core sensor layer of the elevator Internet of Things. It uses RCEI to monitor multiple data information and transmits the data information to the data collector, which can realize various fault monitoring, fault location, and predict some faults in advance. Provide efficient and accurate data support for elevator maintenance companies, regulatory agencies, and property departments to handle accidents, which can greatly improve the efficiency of emergency response after failures and ensure the safe operation of elevator equipment.

RCEI adopts the principle of fluxgate, isolated detection, with high precision, low noise, can detect weak current of 0.5mA, the overall accuracy is within 1%, single power supply 12V power supply, with analog signal output (0.5~4.5V), PWM Output, Signal switch signal, current measurement range is ±50mA, 200Hz frequency response, to meet customer use. RCEI open structure design, easy to use, no need to change the original wiring state, pass the wire through the sensor. Small size and light weight, the sensor can be fixed on the wire, which is very convenient for installation.
Brief description of the drawings, FIG. 2 is the application principle, FIG. 5 is the relationship between the current to be measured and the analog signal, FIG. 6 is the relationship between the PWM output and the current to be measured, and FIG. 7 is the relationship between the Signal signal and the current to be measured.

RICHSENS is the brand ofYichang RICHSENS Sci&Tech Co.,LTD. In 2018, Yichang Ruici Technology Co., Ltd. passed the national high-tech enterprise certification. There are more than 20 employees and long-term business cooperation with Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University of Technology. RCEI is a special current sensor for elevator data collector.
The LED indicator can easily indicate the working status. After the power is turned on, it will be on for 2s, then flash, and the flashing cycle is 2s. The normal flashing is normal working status, and the long on or off indicates that the sensor is not installed.
